Free AIA Continuing Education for Registered Architects

Architect and International Associate members of AIA must complete 18 LUs from registered AIA Continuing Education Service (CES) providers each year.

Associate members are not required to fulfill a specific minimum hourly requirement. However, they are strongly encouraged to enroll in continuing education courses to advance their careers and the profession.

AIA members are encouraged to complete online courses through AIAU and approved AIA CES resources like GFT.

No! You can complete as many live and on-demand courses as you’d like and receive free AIA continuing education credits. While we encourage multiple views of our webinars, professional credits can only be claimed once per webcast.

Once you meet the required criteria for live or on-demand viewing, you can download your AIA certificate easily and instantly from the “Live Certificate” or “On-Demand Certificate” window within the webcast platform. You can also return to the course anytime to access your certificate.
