Civil Works
Civil works play a vital role in restoring and safeguarding critical resources, reducing flood risks and storm damage, and strengthening water resources assets.
Flood control and public safety brought our firm its first project more than 110 years ago. Since then, we have planned, designed, inspected, and supervised the construction of countless dams and levees, flood control, and navigation system projects.
GFT has extensive knowledge of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Civil Works Design Criteria and helped author several Engineering Manuals. Our projects have included the largest Dam Safety Action Classification (DSAC) I and II structures in the continental United States (CONUS).
Military Construction
With decades of federal experience, GFT delivers military construction (MILCON) planning, design, and delivery services that support mission readiness and improve quality of life across DoD installations.
We work as a prime consultant or partner to help agencies navigate MILCON requirements, appropriations, and compliance, delivering secure, resilient facilities that align with operational needs.
Our teams bring first-hand federal insight to anticipate challenges early, align stakeholders, and keep projects moving from authorization through execution.
