In the News: Bazán-Arias and Glogowski Published in Deep Foundations Magazine
The Deep Foundations Institute published a technical article by Senior Consultant Catherine Bazán-Arias, PhD, PE, PMP, and Senior Consultant and Project Manager Philip Glogowski, PE, in the September/October issue of its Deep Foundations magazine. Bazán-Arias and Glogowski are with DiGioia Gray, a part of GFT. In the article, they discuss the methodology they developed to optimize the design and implementation of stiffened, cylindrical fiber-reinforced polymer deep foundations. Their method offers the construction industry an alternative to traditional deep foundations.
GFT acquired DiGioia Gray, a provider of geosciences, geotechnical, power delivery, and civil engineering solutions, in August 2023. The acquisition further strengthens GFT’s robust geotechnical and geological expertise and provides even greater resources to its clients and industry partners.
