In The News: Cayty Dean Shares Key Bridge Rebuild Update

Dean Serves as the Area Engineer for One of the Most Critical Rebuild Projects in History

The Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) inaugural KEYnected newsletter spotlights the inspiring work behind the Key Bridge Rebuild, from construction milestones to stories of teamwork and progress. The new, state-of-the-art bridge will restore this crucial connection along I-695, enhancing Baltimore area mobility and strengthening the economy. Together with our joint venture partner, GPI, we’re proud to support MDTA as a construction management and inspection partner.

Among those featured in the newsletter is Cayty Dean, GFT senior inspector and Key Bridge Rebuild area engineer, whose leadership and collaboration are helping drive one of Maryland’s most significant infrastructure efforts. With five years of experience on major projects, such as the Harry W. Nice/Thomas “Mac” Middleton Bridge Replacement, Cayty brings deep technical insight and a passion for connecting people and processes to make complex projects succeed.

Her commitment to teamwork and problem-solving embodies the spirit of the Key Bridge Rebuild, reestablishing a vital connection for Baltimore’s communities and economy.
