Jason Foltyn to Lead Texas Ports & Maritime Expansion
GFT is excited to welcome Jason Foltyn to the team as Texas ports and maritime client service manager. With more than 25 years of experience in navigational channel design, marine infrastructure, and strategic port development, Foltyn brings the expertise to solve the toughest port challenges innovatively.
“Jason’s expertise and leadership will be key as we continue strengthening our presence in the Gulf Coast region,” said Jesse Lindsay, marine and industrial market sector leader. “His background in both the public and private sectors uniquely positions him to address today’s complex marine challenges. Jason’s industry knowledge, combined with his collaborative approach, will help us deliver innovative solutions and strengthen our position as our clients’ trusted advisor.”

A Texas native, Foltyn has held leadership roles at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) in the Galveston, Fort Worth, and Pittsburgh Districts, as well as the Transatlantic Programs Center. His work at USACE gave him deep insights into the complexities of port and infrastructure, civil works, and strategic programming. His proven leadership in large-scale initiatives demonstrates his ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and deliver transformative solutions.
Before joining GFT, Foltyn served as a senior project manager at a major national engineering firm, leading key projects for Texas ports, including Port Freeport, the Port of Houston, and the Port of Harlingen. His expertise in planning, design, and construction oversight was vital in advancing new dock developments and improving existing marine infrastructure.
“I’m excited to join GFT and contribute to the strategic growth of ports, harbors, and navigational infrastructure,” said Foltyn. “With the dynamic changes occurring in the Gulf Coast region, I look forward to leveraging my experience to strengthen client relationships, drive innovative solutions, and help propel the company’s continued success.”
Foltyn’s arrival marks a pivotal step in our commitment to delivering best-in-class, high-quality ports and maritime solutions. With his direction, we are well-positioned to continue solving critical marine infrastructure needs.
