As CTO, Thompson believes technology is a core business enabler. He fosters a culture of agility and digital transformation to build a high-performing technology organization, ensuring that digital capabilities align with business objectives to drive operational excellence. His goal is to empower GFT’s workforce with the strategies and technologies required to design and deliver next-generation infrastructure solutions that are intelligent, adaptive, and built for long-term impact across the transportation, power, water, and buildings markets.

With over 25 years of experience, Thompson has held senior technology leadership roles at AECOM, AWS, and Schneider Electric, where he led enterprise digital transformation programs, shaped cloud and product strategies, and deployed scalable, connected technology platforms serving infrastructure, utility, and government clients.
